So there is a spring festival at my school. It's five hours long! There will be a salsa making contest, the annual poetry slam, an ice cream social and a chalk drawing contest.
In the chalk drawing contest a family would reserve a square, and decorate the square. So I made my Mom let us do that. She agreed to let ME not my sister do the design, my sister doesn't know that. Anyway I decided that I would do the Sandia Mountains, over that a yucca surrounded by prickly pear cactus on the sides a Zia symbol on one side and on the other red and green chile peppers. In the background would be a New Mexican sunset. So I have high hopes that we will win!
Your designs sounds great. I would not have been able to think of anything that creative. Let us know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteWho knew that the sprinklers would go off the next morning at 6 a.m., washing away the hard work? Six sidewalk artists rallied and quickly rallied and redid their artwork.....an opportunity for resilience!
