Lightning Thief review

It was a wonderful book, but it is a terrible movie. It's pretty much as simple as that.
Everything was wrong. It wouldn't have been good if I didn't read the book. I asked a non-readers opinion and they said "I thought it was pretty cheesy."

First (only the readers will understand this) they left out the entire
'Ares part' and didn't mention Clarisse, at all! They left out Anabeth's magic Yankee's cap and Percy's sword didn't have the name riptide. It had no name.

They changed the plot and made up this pearl quest. They left out the oracle to. Some changes were good like Persephone, but one thing I really hated was how they referred to the underworld as hell. One more thing is Olympus looked like Hogwarts. Which figures because it's from the director of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets.

If you want to read a classic read the Lightning Thief series aka Percy Jackson and the Olympians. But don't go see the Lightning Thief movie. Trust me. there's more things wrong then I listed.

Charish your weekends

Over time i've learned to charish my weekends- they don't last long. Especially as you get deep into the year, they seem shorter and shorter.

When you have homework they seem shorter. Activities can sometimes consume alot of weekend time. So I advise to be careful. Weekends are important because for some reason unknown all stress goes away.

Huge word of advice from me: Live it up on weekends!!!!!!!
